Excellent article.
One question that emerged on my blog is why Newsweek (and so many other newspapers and magazines like them) do not link (in this case) to either JapanesePod or my own ChinesePod. Some people think it’s because Newsweek does not want to risk losing the reader, or because they fear that linking to lesser ranked sites is bad for their SEO. My view is that it may be because it just doesn’t occur to them to do so. What do you think?
